Mr. Benjamin Claar, founder of Holiday Picture Frames, Inc.
In the early 70's, an entrepreneur named Benjamin Claar with thirty years of experience as a photographer saw the need for a distributor of ready made picture frames as well as custom size picture frames and framing supplies. He founded Holliday Picture Frames Inc. and from his base in Central Pennsylvania nurtured customers as diverse as craft shops, paint shops, decorators, gift shops, photographers, artists, and frame shops. From the beginning, his goal was to serve his customers with the highest level of integrity and to share knowledge about the picture frame business with them.
As the business flourished, the Holliday team embraced many improvements in the picture framing industry such as acid-free matting materials and metal sectional frames. Even as decorating styles changed over the years, our exceptional customer service never went out of fashion. Our original focus on quality continues as technology advances.
